GRAND GEDEH ASSOCIATION

IN ASIA THAILAND BANGKOK

INTRODUCE JUNE 23 2011

PREAMBLE

We, citizens of the Republic of Liberia, originating from Grand Gedeh County of the said Republic and residing in the Asia ;

Being deeply concerned about our welfare and in order to form a brotherly bound for the assurance of unity, understanding and cooperation among ourselves and ; To establish and maintain a workable machinery that will provide for and promote the general welfare of all Grand Gedeans everywhere, do hereby form this non-political and non-profit organization.

Article 1 : Name and purpose of the organization.

Section A : The name of the organization shall be called the GRAND GEDEH ASSOCIATION IN ASIA (GGGAA). And was founded on the 23rd day of April 2011 in bangkok, Thailand.

Section B : Motive of this organization in about LOVE, UNITY and PROGRESS.
Section C : This organization is non-political but a group of Grand Gedeans from Liberia with one goal.
Article 2 : Constitution.
Section A : This constitution is the supreme law of the Grand Gedean Association in Asia and must be respected and obey by all members.

Article 3 : Official;
The organization shall have executive board which is the Chairman, co-Chairman, Secretary, and Financial Secretary which are to be elected by the members of the organization and other positions will be appointed by the Chairman.

Section A : The Chairman shall be the chief executive and shall preside over all meetings of the organization. He/She shall be the official spoke person of the organization, representing the policies, views and opinions of the organization in relations with the authority. He/She shall conduct the day to day activity of the organization. The power of the chairman is limited. He/She can make decision if it is in the interest of the organization only if the body accepts His/Her decision. The chairman can also decide the fate of the organization if the body can not make a decision during some important discussion. He/She can be given the floor to rule out and shall be accepted by the body. The Chairman can be impeach for misconduct in office by 51% votes including officials.

Section B : The Co-Chairman His/Her function is to assist the Chairman at all time during or when the Chairman is not in meeting or act in the absent of the Chairman.

Section C : The Secretary General He/She shall be responsible for writing and keeping all records of the organization. He/She shall be responsible for the out going and incoming mails of the organization.

Section D : The Financial Secretary, He/She shall be responsible for the safe keeping of the financial records of the organization. He/She have to read out the financial statement at the end of the every month. He/She with three signatories shall sign to deposit or withdrawal of funds (cash). In the absent of the third party the two signatories can deposit or withdraw. The Financial Secretary has no power to deposit or withdraw funds alone in the interest of the organization. The third party should be elected by the body.
Section E : Other appointees such as Public relation officer(P.R.O) He/She shall act as legal agent of the organization. He/She must be in-charge to attend to all members who are ill, Emprison, Bereave etc. And Shall act as protocol for the Chairman. He/She must have legal and value documents to be able to run after all members problem within the country(Thailand).

Section F : Disciplinary officer he/She must keep law and order during meeting hours. The Disciplinary Officer has the right to fine any member caught disturbing the meeting or coming late to meeting after the meeting grace hour. He/She must be able to address members politely so that the meeting will be conducted peacefully.


Section G : Chaplin General He/She shall always perform an opening prayer before the agenda is read out to the members and should perform the closing prayer at the end of the meeting. He/She should be a God fearing and intellingent person.

Article 4 : Membership

Section A : All born Grand Gedeans and member of the Krahn ethnic group found within the Republic of Liberia and Asia is eligible to become a member of this organization.

Section B : Membership in this organization shall not be denied to any of the two groups listed in Article 5, Section A. On the basic of religion, Age, Gender, Marital Status, Sexual Orientation, Disablity, Financial Status and Popularity.


Section C : Membership form shall be given to every member to be fill in with His/Her full particular as a Grand Gedean living in Thailand and Asia.


Section D : All members of this organization is to fully part take in any activity that may be organize by the organization including programs and other.

Section E : Any member who is suspended or expelled for misconduct has the right to appeal the adverse decision at a regular meeting hours and the accused member shall be reinstated unless the suspension or expulsion is again approved by three-fourths vote.

Section F : A member has no right to have sexual affairs with their member wife or husband and if it happens He/She will be brought before the body of the organization for possible action.

Section G : Any Grand Gedean or Krahn ethnic group who was invited to join this organization on so many occasions since the founding date of the organization and He/She never turned up for whatever reason and decided to join later will be ask to pay the late fees of 1000 baht before He/She can be accepted as member.

Section H : Any member who has rendered outstanding services to the organization may be conferred with honorary membership upon majority of the vote.

Article 5 : Benefit of Member.

Section A : Every member of this organization has all right to be benefited from the organization if He/She is in-need of help in case of any problem or bad condition that can not be handle, such member fate and condition will fully be study by the chairman and officials. Member who are regular meeting attendance and good financial records.

Section B : Any member who is a regular due and other fees payer or at least paid 80-100% fees imposed by the organization He/She will fully be attended to, in cases such as deportation and others.

Section C : Members of this organization is entitle to a loan and must be pay back to the organization according to the said interest proposed by the organization.

Article 6 Meetings.
Section A : Regular meeting shall be held once a week which date is every Saturday that may be change of necessary.

Section B : A special meeting may be call by the chairman or 51% of voting members of the organization. All members of the organization must be given minimum 48 hours notice prior to the meeting time. National holidays and Sundays are excluded for general meeting.

 Section C : Business can not be conducted unless a quorum of the membership is present. A quorum of this organization is 50% plus 1 of the voting membership.

Article 7 : Due and Fine

Section A : The weekly meeting Due is 100 baht.

Section B : The monthly meeting Due is 500 baht.

Section C : The organization has the right to discipline its membership with the fine of 50 baht to be impose on any member caught talking without permission and 100 baht for member caught using profund language(s) by the disciplinary officer.

Section D : The deadline for all fine shall be the next general meeting if the person fined can not pay on the same meeting date.

Section E : The amount of 10,0000 baht is imposed on every membership as security fees and can be pay as once or installments.

Section F : This organization has the ability to assess the membership.

Article 8 : Elections.

Section A : The election committee shall be appointed to conduct all electoral affairs by the chairman.

Section B : The Chairman, Co-Chairman, Secretary General and Financial Secretary shall be elected for one term and seek second term only.

Section C : The election committee shall conduct all electoral affairs of this organization be declaring the person with 51% votes as winner.

Article 9 : Amendments.
Section A : This constitution can be amended anytime of necessary with 51% votes and should be put into writing.
